NIDES Online Learning Vice Principal

Lead online and blended learning at NIDES as Vice Principal, using Brightspace, digital assessment, and education technology expertise. Effective January 2027, this temporary position serves diverse learners.

School District 71 seeks an education leader for NIDES and its challenging online learning environment. The position requires organizational leadership, instructional design, and ethical Artificial Intelligence use. It also calls for knowledge of asynchronous learning, MyEducation BC, Provincial Online Learning policies, and student supports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support online and blended learning environments
• Advance compassionate, connected, personalized learning
• Build relationships with students, families, staff, and partners
• Train others on new technology and software
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or active postgraduate study toward one
• Hold or qualify for a British Columbia TRB Certificate
• Demonstrated online learning leadership and instructional experience
• Experience with Brightspace or comparable learning management systems
• Knowledge of MyEducation BC configuration and reporting
