Process customer transactions accurately as a Retail Cashier while handling cash, credit cards, promotions, and general inquiries.
Your Independent Grocer is seeking a Cashier who communicates well, remains courteous, and contributes to a positive store environment. The work includes scanning products, maintaining register supplies, assisting customers, and supporting company-directed promotions and programs. No previous experience is required because training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan products and complete customer transactions accurately
- Handle cash and credit card payments
- Deliver company-directed promotions and programs
- Assist customers with general inquiries courteously
- Maintain a neat, stocked register area
Requirements:
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
- Resourcefulness when resolving customer questions
- Availability for varied hours, including weekends
- Ability to move 25 pounds and stand during shifts
