Geomatics Project Manager Survey

Apply geomatics expertise to complex survey projects at McElhanney, coordinating field crews, technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules.

This Project Manager position serves engineering and construction survey clients across Prince Rupert, Terrace, and Kitimat. McElhanney needs a communicator who can manage multiple priorities, interpret engineering plans, and maintain quality throughout delivery. Experience with Civil 3D, UAVs, or terrestrial laser scanners is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal and external project managers and clients
• Interpret engineering plans for layout, quantities, and quality checks
• Coordinate field information through final deliverables
• Lead crews while communicating scope and scheduling details
• Complete proposals, reports, drawings, plans, and quality procedures

Requirements:

• Three years of progressive survey project management experience
• Geomatics degree or technical diploma
• AutoCAD, survey computation software, and Trimble Business Center experience
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and complex groups
