BMO Financial Planner Investment Advisor

This Financial Planner position provides financial and investment planning within BMO’s Retail Banking Sales & Service group. You will assess customer needs, recommend managed products, and build relationships with new and existing clients. The work includes mutual funds, retirement savings plans, referrals, and community relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial and investment planning aligned with customer interests
• Assess needs and recommend managed products and services
• Develop client relationships and implement relationship management plans
• Generate appointments through outreach and branch referrals
• Identify referrals for personal and commercial banking products

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant experience typically
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
• Required Financial Planner licensing and registration
• Advanced knowledge of the financial industry
• In-depth communication, analytical, influence, and collaboration skills
