Deliver holistic wealth management from Stoney Creek with investment planning and relationship-building expertise. Serve FirstOntario members across Hamilton and Halton branches.
As an Investment Advisor, you will grow, manage, and maintain a portfolio of current and prospective member relationships. Your work will include financial planning, retirement income planning, investment counseling, risk analysis, and investment asset management. You will support members, including high-net-worth individuals, through tailored advice and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attract, retain, and grow a portfolio of members
- Deliver holistic investment and wealth management advice
- Lead member meetings, presentations, and annual reviews
- Build referrals through community and professional relationships
- Maintain portfolio records using Dataphile, Conquest, and Maximizer
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in business, economics, finance, or equivalent experience
- Valid Registered Representative license with a CIRO-member investment dealer
- Minimum two years of experience as a licensed advisor
- CFP, CIM, CFA, or willingness to pursue a designation
- Knowledge of investment planning, mutual funds, and financial products
