Develop frontend and backend data tools at Veeda AI, combining web application development with object-oriented programming for Physical AI research.
This Software Engineer internship focuses on user-friendly systems that improve efficiency for data teams and AI researchers. You will develop data ETL, data lakes, and visualization tooling for hundreds of terabytes. You will work with the same repositories, clusters, and data as Veeda AI's technical staff, then ship an artifact the team continues using.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop frontend systems for data visualization
- Develop backend systems supporting data visualization
- Process hundreds of terabytes through ETL tooling
- Improve efficiency for data teams and AI researchers
- Write findings and recommendations after shipping an artifact
Requirements:
- Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree
- Current degree pursuit or equivalent hands-on experience accepted
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with web application development
- Experience using AI as a productivity tool
Use full stack development, data visualization, and programming expertise to support Veeda AI's research infrastructure in Toronto.
