The work includes prescription data entry, refill processing, medication selection, billing, and confidentiality. You will refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to the pharmacist while maintaining accurate pharmacy records. A High School Diploma is required, while a Pharmacy Assistant diploma and previous pharmacy experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather prescription information according to established Standards
• Process new prescriptions and refill requests accurately
• Select medications for prescription filling
• Count, measure, package, and label prescriptions
• Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Pharmacy Assistant credited course diploma preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
