Support student development as an Educational Assistant at Ecole Centennial School, working one on one and within classrooms each day. Strong interpersonal skills matter.
Chinook School Division seeks an Educational Assistant for permanent part-time work at Ecole Centennial School. The position supports children with speech, motor, language, social, and life skills development. You will work with students individually and in classroom settings while collaborating on Individual Improvement Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet children’s health and hygiene needs as required
- Work one on one with individual students
- Support students within classroom settings
- Assist speech, motor, and language development
- Support social and life skills development
Requirements:
- Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training is an asset
- Ability and experience working with children
- Physical ability to work with active students
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and truth and reconciliation
