Support elderly female clients in their homes through personal care, medication assistance, and companionship. This permanent English-language position offers 30 to 40 hours weekly.
As a Home Care Personal Support Worker, you will provide bedside support and daily household assistance. Duties include bathing, hygiene, exercise, meal preparation, cooking, shopping, laundry, and light cleaning. Optional no-charge live-in accommodation is available, but it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer bedside, personal care, and medications
- Assist bathing, hygiene, exercise, and regular walks
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Provide companionship, laundry, and light housekeeping
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Seven months to less than one year experience
- English language ability; Hindi is an asset
- Criminal record check and personal suitability
- Dependability, patience, honesty, and reliability
