Industrial Paper Machine Operator

Operate industrial papermaking equipment on night shifts, using process monitoring and control skills in a noisy production environment.

This Paper Maker role requires two to less than three years of experience and secondary school graduation or equivalent experience. You will coordinate pulping, papermaking, and papercoating equipment while controlling machinery and production operations. The position involves making and coating paper products from pulp stock, mixing chemicals and dyes, and monitoring instruments from a central control room. English or French is the working language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate pulping, papermaking, and papercoating equipment use
• Operate and monitor process equipment during production
• Control machinery and process operations within production limits
• Make and coat paper products from pulp stock
• Observe control room instruments for equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Two to less than three years of experience
• Attention to detail during repetitive production tasks
• Ability to handle heavy loads and stand extensively
• Safety equipment and steel-toed safety boots
