As Dispatcher, you will report to the Operations Manager and coordinate delivery activities for the Chatham team. The work requires dispatch and logistics experience, Southwestern Ontario geographical knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong organization. You will communicate delivery requirements, schedule changes, and customer issues while supporting efficient equipment utilization. The position also involves reporting, troubleshooting coordination, safety compliance, and office administration. Familiarity with fuel and propane delivery practices, TSSA, WHMIS, or TDG requirements is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and dispatch petroleum product deliveries
- Provide drivers directions about routes and customer requirements
- Coordinate truck repair and maintenance troubleshooting
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Communicate delivery changes and issues with customers
Requirements:
- Dispatch and logistics experience
- Geographical knowledge of Southwestern Ontario
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office familiarity
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of TSSA, WHMIS, or TDG requirements considered an asset
