Manufacturing process analysis and CNC programming define this technician opportunity with Linamar Corporation. Support efficient, safe, quality-focused production operations.
This Manufacturing Technician works with cross-functional teams to improve processes, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain production standards. The position supports product development, quality control, staff training, and safety compliance. Experience in manufacturing, machining, CAD software, and engineering tools is relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize processes to reduce waste and improve quality
- Diagnose machinery issues and minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain process, improvement, and safety compliance records
- Support product development with design and production teams
- Train manufacturing staff on equipment and processes
Requirements:
- Complete a one- or two-year industrial engineering technology program
- Demonstrate manufacturing experience, preferably automotive manufacturing
- Understand milling, turning, reaming, tapping, and other machining processes
- Edit, create, and prove CNC programs
- Use CAD software and relevant engineering tools
