Senior Culinary Technology Teacher

Teach Senior Culinary Technology with Durham District School Board, delivering curriculum-aligned lessons and supporting student learning. This permanent position is full-time at 1.0 FTE.

As a Permanent Teacher, you will guide Grade 11 students through the TFJ3C course while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom. You will assess progress, provide feedback, collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community, and adapt methods for diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging curriculum-aligned Culinary Technology lessons
• Deliver instruction supporting Grade 11 student learning
• Assess progress and provide feedback for student growth
• Create positive, inclusive classroom environments
• Adapt methods and materials for diverse student needs

Requirements:

• Senior Culinary Technology qualifications
• Ontario teaching certificate in good standing
• Grade 11 teaching assignment experience or qualification
• SHSM experience is an asset
• Current vulnerable sector criminal background check upon hire
