Serve customers and process donations as a Thrift Store Clerk at The Salvation Army Wingham Thrift Store in a permanent part-time position. Cash handling and sorting skills support daily retail operations.
This position provides customer service, sorts incoming products, and assists ongoing retail operations. You will greet customers and donors, complete transactions, process donations, replenish merchandise, and maintain organized displays. The role requires three months of related experience and secondary school completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and donors courteously
- Complete accurate cash and debit transactions
- Sort, price, hang, and store donations
- Replenish sales floor inventory and merchandise displays
- Maintain opening, closing, safety, and cleanliness procedures
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum three months of related experience
- Cash handling experience
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to lift or move 20 to 29 pounds
