Operate Fanuc-controlled CNC mills in Guelph while applying mechanical precision, blueprint reading, and rigorous safety practices across rotating shifts.

Randstad Canada seeks a full-time, long-term CNC Machine Operator for a premier production facility. You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers, verify programs, input offsets, and fabricate close-tolerance components. The work includes quality checks, troubleshooting, documentation, and shift handovers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and calibrate vertical and horizontal Fanuc-controlled CNC mills
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and job routers accurately
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Inspect tools, coolant, fixtures, and safety guards
• Record logs, scrap counts, and detailed handovers

Requirements:

• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling equipment
• Working knowledge of Fanuc controls and offset inputs
• Flexibility to rotate across days, afternoons, and nights
• Ability to stand and lift up to 40–50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent technical training
