Industrial Products Customer Representative

Industrial product knowledge supports customer solutions at W.W. Grainger, Inc., including sourcing, substitutions, pricing, and responsive order service.

This Inside Customer Service Representative position serves customers and WFS Account Managers through quotes, orders, and product support. You will research products, pursue vendor contract pricing, and address returns, complaints, and back orders. The role also requires accurate billing and freight instructions, report review, safety compliance, and quality management support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research products outside the regular vendor base
• Seek special contract pricing from vendors
• Handle customer returns and purchase order returns
• Review reports and make necessary inquiries
• Follow billing, freight, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements:

• One to two years of customer service experience
• Industrial or safety product knowledge preferred
• Strong work ethic and personal commitment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Tight-deadline time management and organizational skills
