Floor Care Maintenance Cleaner

Maintain floors, carpets, glass, washrooms, and stairwells for BGIS Sustainable Cleaning Solutions using cleaning equipment and safe chemical procedures.

As a part-time Cleaner, you will work in a designated zone with emphasis on cleanliness, safety, quality control, and client satisfaction. Duties include hard-surface finishing, carpet cleaning, waste transport, supply replenishment, and reporting major repair needs. The role requires cleaning experience in an institutionalized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean washroom floors, stairwells, elevator cabs, and glass areas
• Use ladders, scaffolding, extension equipment, or power equipment
• Load and unload supplies and replenish cleaning solutions
• Follow chemical and power-equipment procedures protecting fixtures
• Notify managers about major repairs or operating-system additions

Requirements:

• Experience performing institutional cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance activities
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, solutions, and floor-maintenance machines
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to prepare and maintain manual and electronic records
• Excellent interpersonal skills with staff, clients, and public
