Electrical Switchboard Assembler Calgary

Apply advanced wiring skills as an Electrical Switchboard Assembler in Calgary, working Monday through Friday on complex custom switchboards. Troubleshoot components and sub-assemblies.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this entry-level manufacturing position requires medium to advanced wiring abilities. You will read one-line diagrams, interpret customer drawing packages, and wire electrical devices inside switchboard structures. The work includes breakers, meters, relays, sensors, PLCs, switches, and current transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wire, mount, and troubleshoot complex electrical components
• Read diagrams and customer drawing packages
• Run, connect, and terminate device wiring
• Perform continuity and wire pull tests
• Repair issues found during inspection and testing

Requirements:

• Experienced electrical assembler with medium to advanced wiring abilities
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Ability to interpret one-line diagrams
• Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Residence within 80 kilometres of Milton, Ontario

Use electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and testing skills to build custom switchboards while following CSA and UL codes.
