Quality Control Lead Hand

Quality control leadership meets food safety oversight in Richmond Hill, Ontario, coordinating testing, releases, records, and regulatory compliance.

As QC Lead Hand at TreeHouse Foods, you will oversee daily quality activities and support consistent product quality. Your work includes coordinating employee training, product releases, laboratory testing, and quality-system improvements. This one-year contract follows 12-hour day shifts on a continental schedule, with occasional nights and weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incubation, regulatory holds, releases, logistics, and SAP product release
• Verify microbiological, analytical, identity-preserved, and environmental testing results
• Coordinate laboratory submissions, deviations, samples, and customer shipments
• Oversee shelf-life, complaints, allergens, and sensory evaluations
• Maintain records, verify CCP monitoring, and train quality employees

Requirements:

• Post-secondary science degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum two years within a quality department
• Proficiency in SAP and Infinity QS preferred
• Aseptic and thermal process experience is a plus
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
