Property Claims Adjuster Level One

Manage desk-based property claims using investigation and coverage assessment skills. Handle residential, commercial, and farm losses from first notice through resolution.

The Adjuster I, Property Claims, manages entry-level through intermediate-severity losses. You will assess damage, interpret policies, review estimates, and coordinate vendors. The position also includes identifying subrogation opportunities, maintaining documentation, and supporting catastrophe claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle desk-assigned property claims from minor to moderately complex
• Investigate losses, determine coverage, and assess damages
• Review Appraiser and Independent Adjuster estimates for accuracy
• Coordinate repairs with vendors, contractors, and policyholders
• Identify recovery opportunities and refer qualified files

Requirements:

• Zero to two years of property claims experience
• One to three years of Auto experience
• Post-secondary education in Insurance or related field
• Knowledge of damage assessment and policy interpretation
• Strong investigative, analytical, and communication skills
