Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make an impact on major industrial and mining projects? Our client is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their Vancouver-based engineering team. Working within a multidisciplinary EPCM environment, you will lead electrical engineering and design activities, mentor junior professionals, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects ranging from large-scale capital developments to operational support initiatives.

A typical day:
- Lead electrical engineers, designers, and CAD personnel through project execution
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers-in-training and design staff
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, and equipment packages
- Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Develop conceptual designs, studies, technical reports, and proposals
- Coordinate with clients, project teams, and engineering leaders to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Requirements:
- Hold an Engineering degree and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
- Bring 7+ years of electrical engineering experience within industrial or EPCM project environments
- Demonstrate experience supporting mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects
- Possess strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Be proficient with electrical engineering software including ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, ASPEN, and SPELEx
- Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
