Food Service Operations Supervisor

Lead food service operations with strong supervision and customer service while supporting Shift Managers across multiple units. Compass experience adds operational focus.

As a Food Service Supervisor, you assist the Manager on duty with associate coordination and department standards. The role covers menu production, cash readings, staffing, hiring, training, inventories, sales revenue, labour, food costs, and food safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Shift Managers supervising multiple food service units
• Supervise menu production and complete cash readings
• Manage associates, schedules, hiring, and employee training
• Track weekly inventories, sales, labour, and food costs
• Address café patron issues promptly and positively

Requirements:

• At least one year of food industry management experience
• Comprehensive health and safety knowledge and training
• Knowledge of food service catering
• Strong supervisory skills to motivate and lead staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
