Combine lakehouse engineering and Power BI development at 360insights, using Microsoft Fabric, semantic modeling, and DAX for governed reporting. Work hands-on across the data lifecycle and platform.
This mid-level Data Platform Engineer supports analytics solutions for business reporting, operational insights, and client-facing reporting needs. You will create transformations, manage data models, validate reporting outcomes, and modernize legacy workflows. The position also includes documentation, governance, platform reliability, and collaboration with data, reporting, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports
- Create and validate DAX measures using established standards
- Gather reporting requirements and validate business outcomes
- Support custom internal and client-facing reporting
- Migrate legacy SSIS and TeamCity workflows to Fabric
Requirements:
- Experience with semantic modeling and report creation
- Knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, and ETL or ELT
- Query optimization and performance analysis skills
- Experience supporting production data transformation processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
