Freight Audit Manager Transportation AR

Lead freight audit operations at TransX LTD with TMW, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, and advanced Excel expertise. Protect revenue across North American transportation accounts.

As Freight Auditor Manager, you will co-lead 12 Freight Auditors within Accounts Receivable. The work spans LTL, Truckload, Flatbed, Intermodal, Marine Cans, and cross-border road transportation. You will analyze rating and billing errors, oversee high-risk accounts, and align Sales, Operations, and Traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-lead, coach, schedule, onboard, and review 12 Freight Auditors
• Audit complex accounts and resolve billing and collection disputes
• Analyze root causes behind rating, billing, and payment issues
• Prepare aging summaries, forecasts, comparisons, and adjustment reports
• Escalate high-risk account issues and operational roadblocks

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Seven to ten years in leadership, senior auditing, or supervision
• One to three-plus years in Freight Auditing and Transportation Accounts Receivable
• Advanced TMW, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, and Excel proficiency
• Transportation industry experience with multi-modal freight rating knowledge
