Lead daily department activities during daytime shifts, using customer service and retail experience in a 35 to 40 hour weekly schedule.
As an Assistant Department Manager, you will collaborate with the department manager and support department operations. The position suits motivated, resourceful candidates curious to learn more about food. Your work includes team feedback, inventory management, price lists, marketing, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily management activities within the department
- Collaborate with the department manager on operations
- Provide feedback supporting professional development and objectives
- Collaborate with production and customer service clerks
- Ensure exceptional customer service implementation and business readiness
Requirements:
- Two years of retail or customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in learning about food and department operations
- Motivated and resourceful approach to daily responsibilities
- Availability anytime for daytime shifts
Develop department management expertise through customer service, inventory coordination, team feedback, and established operational standards.
