Oilfield Driller Rig Operations

Operate drilling and hoisting equipment as a Driller with Ensign Energy Services Inc. in Nisku, Alberta. Monitor gauges and adjust equipment as conditions require.

This Driller position supports drilling operations across the country and works with the rig team. The role oversees rig and crew operations during assigned tours, following Ensign policies and regulatory requirements. Duties include safe work methods, mud circulation, special tools, and crew training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate drilling and hoisting equipment from the rig floor
• Monitor brakes, throttles, clutches, gauges, and instruments
• Maintain relatively constant mud circulation rates
• Ensure crews and contractors work safely and efficiently
• Train crew members on duties and rig maintenance

Requirements:

• Progressive rig experience and knowledge of drilling procedures
• Knowledge of Ensign policies and regulatory requirements
• Well Control training for supervisory responsibilities
• Required regional training tickets and certifications
• Ensign induction and client-specific site training
