Maintenance Manager Senior Living Contract

Lead hands-on building services at Sunwood in Maple Ridge as a Maintenance Manager, using technical expertise and facilities management experience. This five-month contract supports resident satisfaction.

Cogir Senior Living seeks a working manager to guide environmental services, housekeeping, and maintenance support. You will maintain equipment reliability, protect building condition, and support a positive retirement community experience. The role partners with the Executive Director and residence leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide environmental services, housekeeping, and maintenance support
• Perform hands-on environmental tasks and repairs when required
• Maintain building systems, equipment reliability, and physical condition
• Support resident, employee, and guest safety
• Implement environmental sustainability practices within the residence

Requirements:

• Minimum three years’ environmental services or maintenance experience
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and emergency systems
• Experience managing and leading teams considered an asset
• Facility management program enrollment or trades license
• JHSC and working-at-heights certification, or willingness to obtain
