Build reliable SQL and EDI integrations for Sofina, supporting high-volume data exchange with trading partners and business-critical transactions.
Reporting to the Director, ERP Solutions, the IT Programmer designs, integrates, and optimizes EDI communications. The position develops functional and technical solutions, troubleshoots issues, and maintains documentation. It supports customer purchase orders, invoices, receivables, partner onboarding, testing, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop optimized EDI integrations meeting internal and customer requirements
- Monitor APIs and maintain secure, efficient data transmissions
- Improve integrations, performance monitoring, and exception resolution
- Troubleshoot issues and record root-cause resolutions
- Maintain ERP, EDI, and end-user process documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Minimum five years developing and implementing application specifications
- Expertise in at least one high-level computing language
- Systems Development Life Cycle expertise and version control experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
