Use pharmacy technician expertise and patient education skills onsite in Lowry, Denver, supporting medication adherence through personalized services.
Shields Health Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Liaison to work in a hospital clinic or office building. This pharmacy technician supports patients with specialty and retail prescriptions, refill reminders, insurance issues, financial assistance, and accurate documentation. The work includes collaborating with clinic teams and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinic teams delivering hands-on patient care
- Educate patients about pharmacy services and prescriptions
- Assist with specialty and retail prescriptions
- Conduct refill reminders and resolve insurance issues
- Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements
Requirements:
- State-registered Pharmacy Technician certification
- CPhT preferred for the position
- At least two years of pharmacy technician experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication, organization, technology, and empathy skills
