Managed IT Technology Assessment Specialist

Use technical assessments and standards to prevent disruptions for NextGen Automation customers through proactive Managed IT Services across Western Canada.

This Technology Alignment Specialist position suits an experienced IT professional moving beyond reactive support. You will review networks, servers, Microsoft 365, security, backups, and endpoints, then document risks and recommend long-term solutions. Collaboration with internal service teams helps improve customer technology planning, standards, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review cybersecurity configurations, patching, and disaster recovery readiness
• Identify recurring technical problems and long-term solutions
• Prioritize risks and coordinate remediation recommendations
• Maintain accurate customer technology documentation
• Support customer roadmaps and technology decisions

Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical assessment skills
• Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple customer environments
• Proactive mindset focused on improving technology environments
• Managed Service Provider experience is an asset
