Lead 24/7 Mechanical Branch operations in Prince County through fleet management, staff supervision, and reliable customer service delivery. This leadership role oversees daily facility performance.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure seeks a Depot Manager for its Mechanical Branch facility. You will direct staff, services, equipment, resources, and operational priorities. The work includes budgets, seasonal readiness, safety programs, and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Mechanical Branch operations within a 24/7 environment
- Lead supervisors and staff through priorities, guidance, and evaluations
- Allocate equipment, tools, materials, and operational resources
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and cost controls
- Coordinate seasonal readiness, repairs, maintenance, and work completion
Requirements:
- Post-secondary business education or related Red Seal trade qualification
- Extensive senior-level supervisory and related management experience
- Experience managing budgets and fleet facility operations
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and information systems
- Valid driver's license, clean abstract, and flexible availability
