Join the Ontario Clean Water Agency as a Water and Wastewater Operator. Use your technical skills to ensure safe water management across Ontario's communities.
In this essential role, you will operate and maintain the water and wastewater facilities. The position requires a good understanding of water treatment processes, skilled trades maintenance, and relevant regulatory knowledge. You will have the opportunity to develop through the Operator Career Path Program and enjoy professional growth while impacting millions of lives through your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment
• Monitor processes and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of operations
• Respond to on-call situations and perform overtime as needed
Requirements:
• Class 1 Water and Wastewater certification required
• Valid Class G driver's license
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Availability for on-call duties and overtime
• Ability to perform manual labour in diverse conditions
