The City of Burlington seeks enthusiastic, customer-focused Program Leader/Instructors for its Recreation, Community & Culture department. You will plan and deliver varied programs for participants of different ages and abilities. The work emphasizes participation, skill development, social connection, safety, and welcoming service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan creative programs for participant needs, interests, and abilities
- Lead and implement engaging recreation camp activities
- Supervise participants safely onsite and offsite
- Participate actively in planned program activities
- Follow health and safety regulations consistently
Requirements:
- Intermediate First Aid and CPR level C certification
- Behavior Management Systems Training
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development
- Attend mandatory training dates and complete online training
- Provide a clear vulnerable sector criminal record check
