Build shell automation and SQL solutions as a full-time Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at Citi. Work across Unix/Linux systems and financial data workflows.
This intermediate technology role supports application enhancements, operational automation, and complex data challenges. You will use shell scripting, SQL, Python, relational databases, and ETL workflows. The role also involves testing, debugging, job scheduling, and financial data validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify system enhancements using scripts and code analysis
- Consult users and technology groups on programming solutions
- Test applications for vulnerabilities and security issues
- Resolve data, scripting, and scheduling problems
- Coach new or lower level analysts
Requirements:
- Two or more years of relevant financial services experience
- Expert Shell scripting proficiency in Unix/Linux environments
- Strong SQL skills across large financial datasets
- Experience supporting ETL pipelines and data workflows
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
