Deli Operations Assistant Manager

Support daily deli operations at Longo's as a full time Assistant Department Manager focused on inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and service.

As assistant manager, you will help the Deli Manager prepare the department and meet financial objectives. The position combines retail leadership with inventory management, scheduling, customer service, and issue resolution. Strong computer skills and quick learning ability are important for this work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise the deli department
• Manage inventory to meet financial objectives
• Schedule work to support department objectives
• Provide service to Team Members, Customers, and Vendors
• Resolve issues with a sense of urgency

Requirements:

• Minimum one year deli experience
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Ownership in resolving issues promptly
• Ability to work in a store retail environment
