Apply recreation programming skills at Royal Rose, serving 160 residents in Welland. This part-time, on-site role values creativity and resident-focused communication.
As a Life Enrichment Aide with Jarlette Health Services, you will develop and communicate recreation and social activities. The work reflects resident interests, abilities, and family input while supporting well-being and independence. You will also contribute to care planning, quality improvement, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities during days, evenings, and weekends
- Communicate schedules with residents and families
- Incorporate resident preferences into programming
- Contribute to resident care plans
- Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Experience in recreational or social programming capacity
- Related post-secondary education is an asset
- Long-term care experience is an asset
- Flexible, innovative, and creative approach
- Computer literate with active education interest
