Technical expertise and customer service define this IT Technician contract with TERMONT in Montreal West, supporting two port terminals.
This full-time, one-year temporary position provides first-contact support for unionized and non-unionized employees. You will analyze requests, troubleshoot equipment, maintain system reliability, and support operational availability. French and English proficiency is required for user assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and analyze support requests in person, by phone, or email
- Prioritize requests and follow service-level requirements through resolution
- Diagnose issues and implement timely technical solutions
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and peripherals
- Support business systems, network equipment, and operational facilities
Requirements:
- Education in information technology, technical support, or related field
- Relevant experience supporting users and troubleshooting equipment
- Knowledge of workstations, peripherals, systems, and network equipment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken French and English
