Telecom Structural Engineer Tower Design
Design telecom infrastructure with Stantec as a Structural Engineer focused on tower analysis, seismic systems, and rooftop sites nationwide. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary engineers and clients.
This Structural Engineer role supports tower and rooftop projects through analysis, approvals, inspections, and quality control. You will apply CSA S37-24, structural design codes, and telecom infrastructure knowledge. The position also involves client presentations, design standards, and business planning. Stantec’s Buildings team delivers innovative, sustainable building projects through integrated design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and approve tower structural analysis and construction drawings
- Review custom mounts and post construction inspections
- Perform quality control reviews on projects
- Develop and deliver client presentations
- Assist with design standards and business plans
Requirements:
- Five or more years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Multiple Canadian Professional Engineering licenses, including Ontario
- Working knowledge of CSA S37-24 and seismic systems
- Experience with TS Tower, RISA, and Autodesk Revit
