Provide person-centred care at Yee Hong in Scarborough through personal support, hygiene assistance, and permanent night-shift service. Support older adults with dignity.
The Personal Support Worker assists clients with daily activities and personal hygiene. This permanent night-shift role supports physical, social, and emotional needs safely. Care follows Yee Hong’s resident-centred approach, residents’ rights, organizational philosophy, and government standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care during clients’ daily activities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene needs
- Support physical, social, and emotional wellbeing safely
- Follow resident-centred care practices and residents’ rights
- Work permanent night shifts, including weekends and short shifts
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved Ontario Personal Support Worker course
- Current CPR Certificate
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and manage time
- Ability to work independently and positively within teams
