Design mechanical systems for Lauren Services through a hybrid work model, applying engineering expertise to energy infrastructure and industrial projects.
This Intermediate Mechanical Engineer role suits candidates with six to eight years of EPCM design experience. You will develop practical solutions across multidisciplinary projects, supporting equipment design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The work emphasizes detailed engineering and client collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual layouts, engineering drawings, and P&IDs
- Design pressure vessels, pumps, valves, piping, and equipment packages
- Prepare mechanical component lists and support materials selection
- Create RFQ packages and review vendor documentation
- Support construction, commissioning, start-up, and field troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Six to eight years of relevant EPCM design experience
- Registered or eligible for EGBC or APEGA registration
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and CSA Z662 codes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SharePoint, or Bluebeam
