The Salvation Army seeks a Christmas Support Worker for Community and Family Services. You will process donated toys and food, prepare items for distribution, and support seasonal operations. The work requires Microsoft Office proficiency, accurate recordkeeping, and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, unload, document, and sort Christmas donations
- Prepare donated toys and food for distribution
- Pick up donations using the program vehicle
- Set up and dismantle the distribution centre
- Record statistical data clearly and accurately
Requirements:
- Completed high school or equivalent education
- One year of related community program experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office, email, and internet program skills
- Valid Ontario Class G licence and personal vehicle
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
