Weld quality and corrective-action expertise anchor this opportunity with Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group in Guelph, Ontario. Support reliable welded assemblies.
As Weld Engineering Specialist, you will analyze welding requirements, investigate non-conformances, and improve weld quality and efficiency. The position interfaces with Engineering and Production teams, supports internal and external corrective-action processes, and reviews subcontractor NDE reports. Arrow serves OEM customers across rail, mining, construction, agriculture, defense, and other industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct failure and cause analyses on welding non-conformances
- Support internal and external NCR and corrective-action processes
- Interface with teams to resolve welded-assembly process issues
- Collect and implement actions improving weld quality and efficiency
- Review and approve subcontractor NDE reports
Requirements:
- College or university engineering education, or equivalent work experience
- CWB Level 2 inspection experience or AWS equivalent certification
- CSA W178.2 Level 2 Certification
- CGSB Certification in LPI/MPI
- Ability to obtain customer inspection and training certifications
Use welding analysis, inspection, and quality-system expertise to strengthen Arrow’s welded products and customer requirements.
