Construction Manager leading safe, high-quality project delivery, with scope planning, scheduling, resource assignment, and regular travel to worksites. IFM offers onsite work.
This Construction Manager oversees projects from planning through site operations. The position requires project scope development, tendering plans, master schedules, and subcontractor coordination. Success depends on managing budgets, quality, schedules, client relations, and safety across complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project scopes of work and budgets with Project Management
- Secure permits, approvals, agreements, and required project documents
- Prepare tendering, submittal, and master project schedules
- Oversee site safety plans and construction operations
- Supervise forepeople, personnel, and subtrade vendors onsite
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business Commerce or Civil Engineering
- Construction technology college diploma accepted
- Minimum ten years of related construction experience
- Experience securing municipal permits for large commercial projects
- Willingness to travel approximately sixty percent in the field
Lead IFM construction projects through scheduling, safety, subcontractor coordination, and quality-focused site operations across varied locations.
