Pay rate: $85 - $90/hr.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a talented UX Designer to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered digital experiences. You will work closely with product, business, and development teams to design effective interfaces, conduct user research, and iterate designs to ensure exceptional user experiences.
Mandatory: Public sector experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user experience research using interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing, card sorting, and other methods.
- Translate research findings into actionable deliverables such as user journeys, personas, wireframes, mockups, service blueprints, and prototypes.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops and lead project teams in ideating solutions for complex product and service challenges.
- Design interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms using Figma and design systems.
- Collaborate in an Agile, sprint-based environment and contribute to iterative product development (Discovery, Agile, Beta, Live).
- Communicate design ideas clearly through documentation, presentations, and reports.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Strong UX research and synthesis skills.
- Experience in service design and high-level documentation of front-end and back-end systems.
- Proficiency in Figma and design systems.
- Agile experience and understanding of iterative product development cycles.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
