Verilog and SystemVerilog verification work awaits at AMD in Markham, Ontario, with full-time onsite attendance throughout the co-op or intern term.
This Hardware Design Verification Engineering intern/co-op supports testing AMD’s high-end Machine Intelligence products. You will work with senior engineers and designers on performance verification plans, simulation cases, models, and system-level testing. The assignment includes scripting, debugging, and production validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build performance verification plans, simulation test cases, and models
- Write Perl and Python resource tracking scripts
- Support regression flows using Perl, Python, MySQL, and PHP
- Debug simulation cases, models, and Verilog or SystemVerilog code
- Perform system-level testing and production validation
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a Canada-based university bachelor’s program
- Electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related major
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, Python, C++, C, Perl, Shell, or UVM
- Understanding of digital systems, computer organization, and logic design
- Valid work authorization for Canada
Develop hardware verification expertise through simulation, debugging, scripting, and production testing for AMD Machine Intelligence products.
