Build software for Amazon Robotics as a full-time intern in Toronto, using programming, distributed systems, and modern cloud technologies.
This Software Development Engineer internship supports summer intern and spring or fall co-op roles across Robotics teams. You will design, develop, and test software interacting with robotics, material handling equipment, computer vision, and cloud services. The work includes scalable architectures, microservices, and operational ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices
- Develop software components for robotics and fulfillment technologies
- Build resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pursue a bachelor's degree or above in a related STEM field
- Use Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
- Understand data structures, algorithms, or object-oriented design
- Have one academic term remaining after the internship
