Support Altasciences users with Windows, Cisco Phone Equipment, and advanced troubleshooting skills in an on-site Laval position. Help resolve technical issues across company sites.
As an IT Technician II, you will support computers, telephones, software, laptops, mobile phones, and user accounts. You will respond to requests through the automated Helpdesk System while documenting incidents and solutions in IT Service Management. The role includes coaching IT Technician I staff and escalating issues when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve questions received by phone and email
- Record calls, issues, and solutions in IT Service Management
- Coach junior technicians on hardware and software use
- Prepare computers with operating systems and appropriate software
- Identify recurring problems and recommend hardware or software improvements
Requirements:
- College degree in an IT-related program
- Minimum three years of related experience
- Fluency in French and English
- Windows 10/11 and Cisco Phone Equipment knowledge
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
