Apply AI-assisted development and React skills as a Computer Science Co-op at Critical Environment Technologies, supporting product-focused applications.
This student role supports development for gas-detection systems used across commercial, institutional, municipal, and industrial applications. You will build practical web and mobile tools, work with senior engineers, and contribute to safety-critical products. The work includes AI-driven workflows, modern cloud platforms, and software integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test web and mobile product applications
- Build Bluetooth-enabled configuration and monitoring tools
- Maintain build pipelines and development environments
- Re-architect internal tools into scalable cloud systems
- Document development processes and testing outcomes
Requirements:
- Enrollment in a related computer engineering co-op program
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools
- Familiarity with React or React Native frameworks
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities
