Nanny Wanted - Weekday Morning Daycare Drop Offs, 5am 8am, Occasional Friday Overnights

About Me Hi! I’m a single dad and a radio personality currently hosting a morning show on FLOW 98.7 FM, Monday to Friday. I’m looking for a reliable, responsible and caring person to help with my two young children, Christian and Cleo, on my parenting mornings. I live in Milton and would need someone to arrive between 4:45 and 5:00 AM, as I leave for work around 5. The responsibility would be to help the children wake up, get dressed and ready, then drive them to Childventures daycare in Mississauga, near Mavis Road, for drop-off between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. We follow a 2-2-3 parenting schedule, so the childcare arrangement would rotate between two mornings one week and three mornings the following week. I’m looking for someone who is punctual, attentive, patient and genuinely enjoys working with young children. A safe driving record and your own reliable vehicle are essential, as transportation to daycare is part of the position. Previous childcare experience, First Aid and CPR certification, and references are all important considerations. There may also be an opportunity for additional, optional evening care approximately two Fridays per month, from around 8 PM until 3:30 AM. During these evenings, the children would already be asleep for most of the shift. We have a guest bedroom available for your comfort and privacy, along with a spacious living room and kitchen. You’re welcome to make yourself comfortable while the children sleep. A Little About the Kids Christian is our energetic toddler with plenty to say! He’s still developing his vocabulary, but he’s smart, expressive and already knows exactly which words and phrases will get him through the day. He’s a bit of a picky eater, loves to stay active and explore, but he also listens well. Cleo is our curious little explorer. She loves watching her big brother and trying to keep up with everything he does. She’s at that exciting stage of discovering new things, so she needs someone attentive who can keep a close eye on her. She has a big personality, knows what she wants and isn’t shy about letting you know! Both children are full of personality, and we’re looking for someone who will be patient, engaged, attentive and comfortable caring for children at these stages of development.
