Dishwasher Associate

Adecco is seeking a Dishwasher Associate for a temporary opportunity in Saint John, NB. This role is perfect for candidates with experience in food service, kitchen prep, dishwashing, café operations, hospitality, or customer service.

As a key member of the café team, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment while supporting basic food preparation and front-of-house operations.

• Pay Rate: $17/hour

• Location: Saint John, NB

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, storage, and café spaces.

• Restock supplies and organize inventory, including stock rotation.

• Remove waste, recycling, and cardboard while maintaining cleanliness standards.

• Assist with basic food preparation and café support duties.

• Support customer service activities, including answering phones, taking orders, and processing payments when needed.

• Complete daily logs and report maintenance concerns.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous kitchen, food prep, café, hospitality, or dishwashing experience preferred.

• Strong organization and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
